THE ARTIST MP5 MP5, a figurative artist born in Naples, is recognized for her powerful black and white images, in which essential bodies and forms express a critical and politically engaged vision of contemporary reality. She trained in London, Bologna, and France, where she began her career. Her multimedia practice includes painting, video, performance, and large-scale murals, maintaining a minimal and immediately recognizable style. MP5 has exhibited in major international museums and institutions, including the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, the Pecci Center, the Gucci Garden, the Mattatorio, the Shanghai Art Fair, and many others. She has created public works in Europe, Asia, and the United States and has collaborated on highly significant projects, including: – Gucci’s global campaign “Chime for Change” with Alessandro Michele – the editorial project “Morgana” with Michela Murgia and Chiara Tagliaferri – the symbolic images of the “Non Una di Meno” movement. He designed the image for the 2025 Strega Prize, and in 2023 Rizzoli published his monograph Corpus. His most recent solo exhibition, The Third Dimension, was presented at the Museo Novecento in Florence. He lives and works in Rome.
